Synopsis

An African American teenager, on his way to stardom, faces an unfortunate incident that changes his family’s life forever. The community is enraged, and takes drastic steps to set the record straight.  A series of spiraling incidents transform the community’s perspective of one another, and results in deceitful situations. Harriet, a single mom, is challenged by the society when she tries to clear her son’s maligned name.  What should she do in order to protect her family from the clutches of conniving public servants, frenzied media,  and an antiquated judicial system? Does she withstand the pressures or give in to the malicious situations? How does a single mother address all the challenges ?
